Art classes are divided by 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.  During this time students will look at art, learn about art, and make art.  We will study a variety of art styles and learn about famous artists throughout history.  Students will work with an assortment of art media in both two and three dimensions.  Examples might include (but are not limited to) drawing with pencil/colored pencil, marker, crayon, pastels, and painting.  Three dimensional examples are wire sculpture, found object sculptures, and ceramics.  Three rules must be followed in art class.  These include 1) Do what is right, 2) Be respectful, and 3) Do your best.  Art class will be a time for students to express themselves and expand their creativity.
