Payment Options

Meal payments using cash or check may be made at your child’s school. If paying by check, the check is to be made out to the school cafeteria. Your phone number must be on the check. Although not encouraged, charges are permitted on a very limited basis. Contact the EVSC Office of Food & Nutrition at 435-8262 should you have difficulty in making meal payments. Paying for your child’s meals on-line is also a payment option. If desired, you may use VISA or Mastercard to make payments into the student’s meal account. A fee per transaction will be charged for those making on-line deposits to an account. To access this service, go to www.EZSchoolPay.com. You will need your child’s seven digit EVSC Student ID number. This number can be found on the pre-printed free and reduced price meal application that every student receives or on the opening page of EdEase Parent Access. Even if you do not use EZ School Pay to make on-line payments, the service allows you to check your child’s meal account history and balance at no charge.

The EVSC has elected to use an outside company to recover returned checks that have been used to pay for school lunches. No longer will the district or school staff arrange for the repayment of checks returned for non-sufficient funds. The Federal Automated Recovery Systems (FARS) will now be responsible for the electronic collection of non-sufficient funds checks turned in to any school or district account. When you provide a check as payment, you authorize the EVSC to either use information from the check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction. You also are authorizing FARS to collect a $20 fee through an electronic fund transfer from your account if your payment is returned unpaid.
