Tardiness

A LITTLE LATE IS TOO LATE: Repeated tardiness will result in penalties and may require a parent/pupil/principal conference.

To School: If a student arrives late to school, he/she must report to the A.E.A. (Alternative Educational Assignment) room for a late slip.

To Class: A student is considered late to class if he/she is not in his/her seat at the designated time as determined by the teacher. If the student is detained in the office or by a teacher, the student should be given a written pass before reporting to class. Class tardiness will be handled by the teacher. Persistent tardiness will be called to the attention of the assistant principal and the parents.

Note: Any student late to school without reason will serve after school detention after the eighth tardy. After ten tardies, students will be assigned A.E.A. for each third occurrence.
